The band pro-actively assists Jaguar Cars and the Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club, by supporting the local community, both in promotional work but more importantly by assisting local charities and good causes.

The band has had many competition successes and been awarded numerous trophies, and is judged as one of the top brass bands in the country. The pinnacle however, was achieved in October 2006, when the band was honoured to take part in the “National Brass Band Finals” at the Royal Albert Hall. In November 2006, the band was invited to attend the “US Open Brass Band Championships”, where they were runners up, as well as taking the prizes for the Best March, and the Best Buskers.
